Wal-Mart

The one and only place that you can spend less than 10 minutes in and see at least five people that you know that you haven't seen in at least three weeks. If we lived in a bigger city with more options of shopping it may not be the same ratio...but living in a small southeast MO town Wal-Mart is the place to be. I ran in last night on my way home from work to purchase a few things, and we ended up running into several people. If it's just a few minutes to say 'hey, how's it going', but sometimes people end up spending a good thirty minutes in one of the isles catching up with one another. And what better time than the 'shopping season' to do this...EVERYONE is at Wal-Mart. And yes, there is a 'shopping season'...everyone is gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas and it's CRAZY in there. So, if you're feeling lonely or just want to see some friends...go to your local Wal-Mart and walk around, you're sure to run into someone you know. If not then meet someone new...I'm sure that there are others there doing the same thing.
