Hello Again!

Ah...how life goes by. I got 'talked to' the other day via email how I never update here anymore. I find it hard sometimes to take time out to update here...once I'm at home I don't like logging onto my system since I look at a computer all day at work. (So, by the time stamp, you can see that I'm actually blogging at work) --grin--

Many things have happened in my life since May (my last entry). A friend of mine was diagnoised with cancer. He was down in his back and went to the doctor to find out his body was eaten up with cancer. We're believing God for a miracle and that He will heal him, and He can...but sometimes it's hard to waite. My brother spoke at church a week ago about a Dependable God, and how He will not leave us and He will be there regardless. It's at times like this that we have to decide if we truly believe in a Dependable God and His promises. And regardless if Stanley is healed here on Earth or if he dies from this...we have to decide what we will continue to trust in. I know that God 'can' (and Stanley has already claimed his healing as of last Sunday morning), but it's believing that even if He doesn't. It all goes back to faith...

My nieces and nephew are all growing like weeds. Sunday we all went out to eat and I was watching 'Jr' eat and interact with everyone sitting at the table...it hit me that he's no longer a baby. He turned two in March, and he all of a sudden is a little boy. It's sad in a way...no more babies. My nieces entertained me with stories about thier current favorite video and what they have done lately.

I've been spending a lot of time on the river lately. I've been to the river more this year already than I have the past two years combined. It's awesome and I love the river. There's nothing like the smell of the river and having the wind wip around you as you go flying up/down river in a boat or on a jet ski.

Well, I think that about covers it all. I know there's more that has happened and stuff that is going on in my life, but those reading it can only take so much. --smile-- Until next time.
